Pair of amazing framed pieces showing growth of Japanese pearl oysters,
made in Occupied Japan, circa late 1940s, and containing many pearls
of various colors (maximum sizes 8, 10, and 12 mm); each piece measures
approx. 17 1/2 in. by 23 in.; the more ornate of the two has a bamboo frame
and label on back reading "Products of Occupied Japan", and shell
decoration which simulates vines, leaves and butterflies; pearl colors include
white, yellow, cream, pink, gold, silver and black; some shells have cracked
with age, and there's some minor shell flaking apparent, but overall condition
excellent; sold only as a pair. ~ $1,200 for the pair.
Two pins from the 1960s, one in plastic shaped like ice skates, the
other in heavy stamped copper of a groomed poodle; each approx. 2
1/4 in. long. ~ $20 each.
Gretsch "Broadkaster" plectrum banjo with engraved simulated
mother-of-pearl on fretboard and head; circa 1930. ~ $350.
Ceramic bank shaped like a money bag; 5 3/4 in. by 3 1/2 in.; slight
wear to paint but no cracks or chips; probably made in Japan circa 1950s.

Wood blocks with metal prongs embedded into the surface forming the
letters R and B; obviously handmade, but their use is a mystery, possibly

Eight little Beatles novelty charms: Four plastic wallets less that
an inch long, each with a picture of one Beatle on them, and each containing
tiny fake dollars decorated with Nixon, Humphrey, Agnew and Wallace. Also
four tiny plastic records, about same size as the wallets, each with a picture
of JPGR and each has a sticker on the reverse with a song title and the
Capitol Records logo. Two have "Please Please Me" and the other
two have "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Twist & Shout".

in., decorated with a dancing red devil on one side and this phrase on the
other: "Not for little cuss words such as dash and blow, but for all
