Brass figure of a St. Bernard mounted on a wooden base; on his back
is a round container that once probably held a clock but now contains a
small picture of an American flag; on bottom of base is written: "Mounted
May 25th 1949 by F. Kolb." 9 1/4 in. by 12 3/4 in. ~ $80.
Snake of nails, medical symbol constructed of nails in a wooden frame
by Dr. Robert Ferrell of Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y., in 1960 for a medical
arts exhibit, 35 in. by 13 in. ~ $200.
Dog items: Pin cushion of a black dog with tongue hanging out, 4
in. long. ~ $30. Tiny solid celluloid or plastic figure of a puppy sitting
in a shoe, 2 in. tall, 2 3/4 in. long, written in ink on the side of

Primitive yet accomplished oil on canvas of Jesus rescuing a lamb
from a bramble bush, circa 1890, wonderful colors, cleaned and varnished,
frame unrestored; 26 3/4 in. by 29 1/2 in. ~ $1,200.
Wonderful, sensitive portrait of four children (two boys, two girls) and
a gray donkey, watercolor, 16 in. by 20 in. image size, children
are dressed in 1920s garb; surprisingly, it is unfinished: one boy's hands
and the other boy's shoes are not painted; found in Pennsylvania. ~ $1,100.
Pastel portrait of two puppies, they appear to be a cocker spaniel
and springer spaniel; image size is 17 1/2 in. by 20 1/2 in.; circa 1940.
